How it works, step by step
Set your templates
In Settings, write your consent wording per language, or keep PetGrid's; the pet's and owner's details fill in from the record.
Send for signing
Hand the owner a tablet in the clinic, or send the form to their app, where they get a notification and an email.
Signed and filed
The owner draws or types a signature; the signed PDF is saved to the pet's documents, with who, when and where.

Have owners sign on a tablet in the clinic or in the free PetGrid app, with a drawn or typed signature.
Keep each signed form as a PDF that records who signed, when and where, saved to the pet's documents and never changed.
Send estimates with a low-to-high range, have the owner approve and sign them, and turn an approved estimate into an invoice draft.
Print a rabies certificate for a vaccine, with the vet's licence and a line to sign.
Give owners a vaccination record PDF with a QR code to check it, and print the medical record, invoices, insurance claims and year-end statements.

What it does not do (yet)
- Custom consent form templates are available alongside surgery and anesthesia, euthanasia, boarding waiver and new client intake forms.
- Travel and health certificates are not produced by PetGrid.
- The rabies certificate prints through the browser and is signed by hand.
- Clinics can email the claim PDF to the insurer when the owner asks; a claim showing the diagnosis is sent by a vet. PetGrid does not submit electronic claims into an insurer's system.
- There is no AI in paperwork.

Yes. Owners sign consent forms and estimates on a tablet in your clinic or in the free PetGrid app, by drawing or typing their signature, and the signed PDF records who signed, when and from where.
Which consent forms does PetGrid include?
Custom consent form templates are available alongside surgery and anesthesia, euthanasia, boarding waiver and new client intake forms.
Does PetGrid produce rabies certificates?
PetGrid prints a rabies certificate for each rabies vaccine, with the vet's licence number and a line for the vet's signature. The owner's vaccination record PDF is a summary, and says it is not an official rabies certificate.
Can PetGrid make travel health certificates?
No. PetGrid does not produce travel or health certificates; owners can use the travel helper in their app, and book a travel certificate visit with you if you offer one.
