Features

Made for the whole lifeof your pet

PetGrid is a pet wellness app for the whole life of your pet. From the first puppy or kitten visit to the trip away from home, it keeps what you need in one place, whether or not your vet is on PetGrid.

Everything in this first part works with any vet, or none at all. No clinic and no invite needed.

  • Records you keep yourself

Add vaccines, medicines, allergies and documents yourself, from any vet. They are marked Added by you, so everyone knows where they came from. Coming soon: adding visits yourself.

  • Vaccine card with a QR code

Download each pet's vaccine card as a PDF. Its QR code lets a kennel, groomer or vet check the vaccines, until it ends or you turn it off.

  • Share links

A link with no login for a sitter, a kennel or a groomer. You choose what it shows and when it ends, and you see each time it was opened.

  • A code for any vet

In an emergency, give any vet, like an emergency hospital, a code that works for one day. You see who opened it.

  • Lost pet poster

If your pet goes missing, turn on lost mode and download a poster with their photo, ready to print and share.

  • Travel helper

Planning a trip? A helper shows what papers your pet may need and what to ask your vet for.

  • Reminders

Reminders for vaccines, monthly preventatives and anything else, by email, as a phone notification, or both.

  • Medicines

Keep a list of each pet's medicines and doses, and add it to a sitter's care card when you go away.

  • Health charts and a Care score

See each pet's weight, vaccines, medicines and routines as charts, log a weight or a symptom at home, and watch the Care score heart fill as you tick Done.

  • Vets near you, on a map

Find vet clinics near you, wherever you are, on one map. PetGrid clinics can be joined and booked. For any other, tap Invite my vet to PetGrid.

  • Pip, your pet's Wellness Buddy

Ask Pip to find something in your app, or for pet care guidance from official government guides. Pip is not a vet and never gives a diagnosis. For your pet's health, call your vet.

  • Pet photos

Add a photo of each pet when you add it, or later by tapping its picture. It shows on your lost pet poster and page. Coming soon: your pet's photo on the care card you share with a sitter.

  • Your data, your call

Download a copy of everything you keep in the app, or close your account, whenever you like.

Health tracking

A heart that fills as you care

Each pet gets a Care score from 0 to 100 on Today. Tick Done on a routine and the heart fills a little more. It measures how the care routine is kept, never how your pet is.

  • Routines ticked Done on time count most, then vaccines and reminders kept up to date, a recent weight and logging regularly.
  • Tap the heart to see how it is made, the last eight weeks and up to three things that would raise it.
  • Weight, vaccines, medicines, routines and symptoms you log show as charts in Health, like a phone's health app.

Upgrade

When your clinic is on PetGrid

Join your clinic in the app, and these appear too, if your clinic offers them. Your own records stay yours.

  • Booking

See open times and book a visit online, for one pet or several, with the vet you choose.

  • Cancel and reschedule

Plans change. Cancel or move a visit yourself, inside your clinic's rules, and if a slot opens up, the waitlist can offer it to you.

  • Chat with photos

Message your clinic, add photos or a video, and see when your message has been read.

  • Records from your clinic

Visits, vaccines and results arrive from your clinic on their own, on a timeline for each pet.

  • Pay online

Pay bills and deposits online with your card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.

  • Hospital updates

When your pet stays at the hospital, updates from the team arrive in the app.

  • Family access

Invite family members, so everyone caring for your pet sees what they need.

  • Shop and training tips

Picks from your vet in the shop, training tips and a first-year guide for puppies and kittens.

  • Off until your clinic turns it on

    Symptom helper

With a PetGrid clinic that turns it on, Pip helps you decide how soon to call when something seems wrong. Words that sound urgent bring up an emergency card first, and answers come only from cited sources. It never gives a diagnosis. That stays with your vet.
