How it works, step by step
Map your accounts once
In Settings, map each kind of charge and payment method to an account in QuickBooks Online or Xero.
Close each day
At the end of the day, see what was taken and count the cash drawer for each location.
Read the numbers
Open revenue, receivables and clients whenever you need them, and download any of them as a CSV.
Hand off to accounting
Download the invoice, credit note and payment files and import them into your accounting software.

What it does not do (yet)
- Accounting is a file export for QuickBooks Online and Xero, not a live sync.
- Reports and accounting exports download as CSV or PDF files.
- There is no separate bookkeeper role: reports are for admins.

Does PetGrid work with QuickBooks or Xero?
PetGrid exports files for QuickBooks Online and Xero: invoices, credit notes and payments, mapped to the accounts you choose in Settings. You import the files into your accounting software; there is no live connection.
Which reports does PetGrid have?
The daily close, revenue by vet, service, location and tax, receivables aging, open invoices, clients and reminders. Each downloads as a CSV or PDF file.
Who can see the clinic's reports?
Reports are for the Admin role only. Vets, technicians and the front desk do not see them. See team and roles.
Can I download my data from PetGrid?
Yes: every report downloads as a CSV file, and an admin can download the whole clinic's data as one file at any time. See import and export.
